Cabrillo file details

There are a few details that must be known when uploading your log.

The log submission process starts with a form where most of the details are collected (your club, station contest class, etc).

So, in the cabrillo file the really important details are:

  • The first line with the START-OF-LOG: 3.0 directive
  • The station call sign (CALLSIGN:), must match with the call sign that you entered in the form.
  • The QSO: lines with the each QSO information.
  • In the QSO lines, the club acronym and the club number membership should be introduced WITHOUT any spaces. Most log software (N1MM, etc) will do this straight away (the right thing)…
  • The last line with the END-OF-LOG:

Examples:

QSO line ok

QSO line with error

After uploading an email will be sent to you, to guarantee that you could access and change your log, if necessary, until deadline.

If your log presents some issue, the errors will be displayed. In such a case, please correct the errors and resubmit the log.

The NRA log checking software uses spaces for delimiters between fields.

The SWL logs must have the same fields. The RST and exchange of the second operator could be "599 001" in CW or "59 001" in SSB. This fields will be not used for points calculation.

END-OF-LOG:
Must be the last line of the log submission
